OKay so I was dating this guy and i've known him since 6th grade. He was always calling/texting/messaging me. Then one day he kept saying he loved me. So the next day we were at the pool with some friends and he left without a word. Then I got online the next day and his status is "how do you dump someone without hurting them? they're obsesive." I'm just like WTF?!?!

I met my boyfriend in 2002 and we started dating in 2003. I was so in love and I was sure we would stay together forever. In 2005 we got engaged. Shortly after I found out I was pregnant. After I had our baby things of course took a horrible turn. One day he just fell off the face of the earth. He ignored me for almost an entire year. He finally called me. He said he lost his job and he was so embarassed that he felt he couldn't face me. He said he still loved me and missed me. I told him I didn't know if I could forgive him but he started seeing out daughter again. After a lot of begging I stupidly took him back. Then I got an anonymous text asking me to ask him about his wife. When I confronted him he told me that it wasn't tue. After almost two weeks he confessed he had gotten married while he wasn't talking to me!!!!!!!!!! what a douche right?

this boy i dated earlier in the year, Cody, he played foot ball, had a 6 pack, he cracked me up. we dated for almost a month before i kissed him, then almost 2 before he told me he loved me, i said the same. 2 weeks later, my cat that i had had for literally half my life died suddenly, 2 days later, he tried to get me to sleep with him, and i refused, he then dumped me because he didnt 'feel the spark' any more. he then went on to date 6 of my friends, ruining a 4 year long friendship. he then got a gay hair cut and a bad rap, i then lost 10 lbs and got a hot hair cut, and hav a new, better bf, but i still get nauseous thinking about him :p hes a douche!

I had this guy friend who I was very close to and had liked for a long time, but he had a serious girlfriend so we didn't date. Well, about 3 weeks after they broke up, he asked me to the prom and of course I accepted. He was a little innocent and I gave him his first kiss, and the relationship really progressed. We got to the I love You mark. Anyways, about a week after we started saying I love you, he broke up with me. His reasoning? "i didn't feel fireworks when I kissed you and I've been trying to force myself to love you since then, but I can't." Woah, what an ego booster. Everything he ever said was a lie. What a douche, right?

I've been seeing a guy on and off for about four years now. The thing is that while we have dated before, we know that our relationship works the best if we stick to being friends with benefits. I have come to accept that, and honestly I really do not expect any romantic or sweet gestures from him. Three weeks ago though, he calls me up to meet with him rather late at night. Well we all know what was on his mind. I went to his house and we stayed up all night enjoying each other. Around 6 am we are winding down and enjoying a cigarette, at which point he turns to me and lets me know that he would love to sleep with my best friend. I laughed it off, letting him know he doesn't stand a chance with her and that he is a major douche. I haven't talked to him since, but if anyone decides to comment, please give me some input. I mean we aren't dating, just friends with benefits. So now is he as major of a douche as I believe him to be or should I chill out and understand we are not in a relationship?

My ex-boyfriend and I had been dating for 4 years when I was told I needed braces. Being 22 years old I was understandably self-conscious but he assured me he didn't care what my teeth looked like and he loved me either way. A few days after I got them on I went to see him and he told me not to worry, that they actually looked kind of cute, and I felt a little less terrible about my appearance. He waited until I got home and then he dumped me, over IM, AFTER 4 YEARS, saying he just wasn't attracted to me anymore. Then he promptly started dating the most impossibly beautiful girl I have ever seen.

I dated this guy Brett on and off for three years. Last summer we were on one of our off stages but quickly heading for on again. He was my absolute best friend regardless of our dating status. Anyways, I had to move 1500 miles away and we stayed close over the phone but as soon as he got a girlfriend he completely stopped talking to me. I went home to visit and he pretty much pretended i didn't exist. I don't need him romantically but i need him as a friend:'((
